Nice Hotel, but the rooms could have been a bit more warm. You need to change the hairdryer in the room, but appreciated the big TV and large offer of teas bags.

Due to his poor complaints handling we requested he left notes on our check out invoice so that we could show this with a formal complaint that I could email to the hotel. Mark advised he had done this and he placed the invoice inside a sealed envelope. I opened the envelope and to my disbelief there were no additional notes of the complaint we raised. When questioned Mark advised he is here unable to leave notes on the invoice which made me immediately distrust him and anything he had previously said to me. I have since written a formal complaint via email and it has been over a week without receiving any acknowledgement or reply. This is apparently one of the best hotels in Birmingham city centre. The experience me and my partner faced was more towards the standards of a Travelodge or premier inn and even in those hotels you would receive a much better service with compensation or even refund. I would not usually leave such a review but the experience I faced was disgusting and I was made to feel at blame by Mark and feel I gave pelo choice having had pelo reply or acknowledgement to my formal complaint and believe others should be aware of this awful stay. Avoid this hotel.

Good casino, the girls at the reception are kind and the people inside too. They have 2 roulette tables and many other games to play. I had a good time there.
Only went to use their toilets (my car had broken down outside and I was waiting for the AA!), but reception was very pleasant and helpful! The casino looked very well appointed and relaxed!
Absolutely brilliant. Usually we do partner events in London. Usually the issues surrounding this are tricky location, expensive parking and congestion fees....with the Edgbaston Stadium it was so easy to find, plenty of free parking, welcoming staff, brilliant location with access to presenting in a professional space looking over the grounds.
This is a great place to watch cricket. Fabulous atmosphere, plenty of food and drink options available and great staff/stewards. It's a very family friendly venue too as there is a family stand (pelo alcohol allowed) and tickets are very reasonably priced.

But all machines were easy to use, clear instructions. The staff were really helpful, and with this being the first time we’d been to Birmingham and stayed in this type of accommodation we had plenty of questions! Genuinely they couldn’t have done more for us. The location was great as well - as others have said, the peace and quiet was there despite being so close to the city centre. Right round the corner from the building and central station, with lots of arcades and food areas nearby. Would absolutely recommend staying here - whatever the weather!
